The above chart is in response to similar diagrams and comparatives in use by certain sects of the Church for their teaching of pardon or conversion theology. These have tended to include only select examples in conversion which serve to highlight a preferred distinctives doctrinal emphasis. (i.e., Holy Spirit as more vital to Salvation than Belief or Confession, Baptism before Repentance, Belief over Baptism, etc.) One such chart even includes Matthew 28:18-19 within its header… Jesus instructs from the Matthew 28:18-20 text that we go and make disciples. Conversion theology cannot be delineated from the Gospels or the Acts, in that the teaching of the New Testament is unabridged in its outline and requirement for discipleship into Christ.
